NFL 2008-2009 Season Thread

Yeah, younger the better...though I'm not really big on rookie jerseys.

I think I got my Shockey jersey after his great rookie year. It served me well for 3 or so years but by then the numbers were starting to fade a bit, and I wound up making the mistake of getting an older player jersey. I got a Tiki Barber jersey and seriously he announced his retirement a week later.

I figured "well, it's ok...I can still wear it as he'll always be remembered"...then once he became a total prick I pretty much retired the jersey and stuck with the worn out Shockey on game days for another year.

Now that he's gone, I've got a brand new Tuck jersey and I got my dad an Umenyiora for his birthday. Defensive ends 4tw

I was tempted to get an away jersey after last year's success on the road but the fact that there's no blue in them still bothers me a bit.
