-Triple H and Shawn Michaels "reverence" to Ric Flair: Just a "random thought" (hence, the title of this thread).

Does anyone else think that during the whole "Ric Flair farewell tour" ordeal, Triple H and Shawn Michaels greatly exaagerated their love and respect for Flair (all in an effort to make Ric Flair look like a bigger star than Hulk Hogan).

Call me crazy, but I think this was a large part of their motivation. Triple H and HBK hate Hogan so much, that they wanted one of "their" guy's to be made to look like a bigger legend. Aside from Hogan, I also wouldn't be surprised if this was an indirect shot at The Rock and Stone Cold (i.e. Flair is the greatest of all-time!!!!).

Having said that - I *do* think that HBK and HHH respect Flair.......just nowhere the near the extent as they would lead you to believe.
