It would have sucked balls, but the logic behind stopping development doesn't make much sense to me.

The Dark Knight is the biggest movie of the decade, and given the quality and subject matter will likely be a massive hit for years and years to come. With that being said, I don't really understand why they've 'missed the boat' by not having it ready for the theatrical or dvd release.

I'm sure there'd be plenty of interest in a quality TDK video game anytime, whether it be in a couple years, or in five years.
Doesn't really make much sense to give up on making one, when it will be a hit no matter when it comes out.
