Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pt II — Raekwon

I have been anticipating this album ever since I first heard OB4CLI. It was delayed and pushed back multiple times for various reasons. Any true rap fan has to give this album a listen.

It has production from Pete Rock, RZA, Dr Dre, Marley Marl, J Dilla (RIP), Erick Sermon, Mathematics and others. The album heavily features Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, but has appearances from all Clan members minus U-God (no idea why). Jadakiss, Styles P, Busta Rhymes, Slick Rick and Beanie Sigel also make appearances.

I have to say that this is one of the most polished, well constructed albums I've ever heard. There isn't a single track on the album I would skip. The production is second to none. The various producers all bring their signature styles to the album and it really shows. The verses are excellent, on point, and nobody really brings any weak flow or lyrics. I can really see why the album was so long in the making. Normally I would expect an album to disappoint at least in part when this happens, but such is not the case here.

Here are a few tracks:

House of Flying Daggers ft. Ghostface Killah, GZA, Inspectah Deck & Method Man, produced by J Dilla

Black Mozart ft. Inspectah Deck & RZA, produced by RZA (this track was formerly entitled Godfather, I believe, for anyone who has been following the album release)

Canal Street, produced by Icewater

Catalina ft. Lyfe Jennings, produced by Dr Dre (if you can't tell this is a Dre track from the beat then I dunno)

Give those a listen, mind you they are my favorites so far. The whole album delivers.
