Arrow HEY CANADA, GET OVER IT!!! (Spoiler)

In this week's Raw thread, "RGWhat316" said, "And finally, will the canucks ever let it go???? In 1997, Bret Hart got screwed out of his championship because he was leaving to go to the rival company, and in 2004, the other guy involved, Shawn Michaels, still gets the biggest heat of the night because of the incident. I mean come on already."

That's absolutely right. Now, before I proceed, let me first say that I love Canada. I visited there briefly about 12 years ago, and had a blast. It's a beautiful country, and I may even hope to live there someday.

Also, the whole "Montreal incident" was really a shame. Both sides were wrong, in my opinion, but that isn't the point. The point is, it happened 7 years ago. Worse things have happened, and it's time to move on.

Tonight, in the main event at Raw, 4 excellent workers (well okay, Batista's not excellent) were in a great match. It was a Tag Team Title match, and these guys were working hard. They were trying to make us happy dammit. And what's the response? "We Want Bret! We Want Bret!"

Please folks, enough already. Enough. Stop. You Want Bret. We get it. McMahon gets it too. And so does Bret. But for a variety of reasons, you can't have him right now. In fact, whether or not we like it, we might not ever seen him in a ring again.

Stop dwelling on the past. It isn't healthy. Try to enjoy what we have now. It isn't really that bad. I love you Canada, but get over it.
