DOR/DOR2 is awesome

A week or so ago we were talking in the SvR thread and DOR2 came up. I popped it in and have been playing it quite a bit lately. Never really played much DOR2 for some reason, I was a bigger fan of DOR1 back then. I think it was because I didn't feel like doing a CAW to unlock everything. Going to do that now, though.

It's probably the best wrestling engine I've ever played. It's pretty much the evolution of the No Mercy gameplay.

My favorite mechanic is easily being able to break up any move with pretty much any move. They completely got rid of that invisible barrier that's usually there and brings a whole new dimension to the game. For example, I hit a SCM on Cena while he had someone in a camel clutch and he sold it. I also love to hit an RKO and have the guy land on someone downed.

I would love it if they ported this engine to a modern console, gave it some shiny HD graphics (the graphics are amazing as-is, though, especially for Gamecube), update the roster and add more match types.

Discuss.
