I guess we never should have made all those Nickelodeon jokes...

From PWInsider:

John Cena is among the cast in the new Nickelodeon made for cable film "Fred the Movie", according to a press release issued by the network for its upfront presentation.

Details on the film:

Fred: The Movie -- Inspired by the Fred Figglehorn character created by Lucas Cruikshank and featured on the record-breaking Fred Channel on YouTube, the film stars Cruikshank as Fred, iCarly's Jennette McCurdy as Bertha, WWE's John Cena as Fred's dad and British teen sensation Pixie Lott as Fred's long-time crush, Judy. The movie focuses on Fred as he finally succeeds in making it to Judy's house, only to discover she has moved. He embarks on a journey to find her and hatches a grand scheme that makes him cooler than his classmates could ever imagine. Fred: The Movie is written by David A. Goodman (Family Guy), directed by Clay Weiner and produced by Brian Robbins and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett of Varsity Pictures and Gary Binkow and Evan Weiss of The Collective.
