We all know what happened on May 19th. Bad things happened on May 19th! We need to take a moment to remember what May 19th is all about, so I give to you, if you dare….

The big send off for Scott Hall and Kevin Nash took place on May 19th, 1996. While WWE wanted to keep the fans in the dark about who were friends and who were allies, The Kliq let everyone know where their loyalty was. Instead of doing what they were told, they were true to their crew. You can go ahead and post the “it’s still real to me, damn it” guy, because this was real. Real friends staying by each other, and going out in style.
Vince McMahon couldn’t punish Hall or Nash. It was their last night. HBK was in the main event, and there’s not much you can do to the big dog in the yard. Triple H on the other hand… We all know that it just delayed his rise to the top.

I don’t care if you like these guys, or if you hate them. If you look at what they’ve done, or what they’re doing. You CANNOT deny the positive impact they’ve had on the industry. The Kliq is the standard of the very best both in the ring and as a prime example of what a friend is all about.
