DISCUSSION - Should Shelton Benjamin win the Battle Royale on RAW?

DISCUSSION - Should Shelton Benjamin win the Battle Royale on RAW?

Advantages

-Benjamin re-establishes his credibility as an IMPACT superstar. If Benjamin wins the battle royale, then any doubts of his victories of Triple H becomes erased. Benjamin could literally become 'over' amongst the marks' eyes.

-A Benjamin/Benoit feud would be excellent from a wrestling standpoint. The matches itself should get Benjamin over....even if he loses. After Benjamin's feud with Benoit, he should be an established solid upper-card wrestler.

-A Benjamin/Benoit feud could really emphasize the WRESTLING aspect for main-events (and this could help the marks' appreciate the 'wrestling' aspect of main-events a helluva lot more).

Disadvantages

-A Benoit/Benjamin title match may not (and probably wouldn't) 'draw' very well since Benjamin is not perceived to be a main-eventer (is it a 'guarantee' that the fans' perception would change even if Benjamin won the battle royale?).

-Chris Benoit needs to defeat more 'credible' opponents. Granted he's defeated Shawn Michaels and Triple H of late (cleanly), but would the World title somehow be 'devalued' if Benoit fought Benjamin? Could this be the equivalent of when Big Show fought Bossman in 99' (in defense of his world title).

Right now on Smackdown, we are seeing Eddie Guerrero take on a 'green' Bradshaw (and PPv buyrates are expected to be low). Is this a similar comparison to a potential Benoit/Benjamin feud?
