Renaming a song and Re-Releasing it??

I was listening to the radio the other day and heard what I thought was Megadeth's "A Tout Le Monde." Sounded a little different, but the words were exactly the same. When the song was over, the voice came on and said 'That was Megadeth with "Set Me Free."

I was terribly confused for a bit. Then I figured that they just did a remix or whatever, but why change the name??
