Only it's not. He could have been being a dick, he could have been taking a misguided shot at WWE, he could have not known the severity of Edge's injury, he could have thought it was a work yadda yadda yadda. It's really easy to lay into and cry about Hogan because he appears to be Bin Laden to the smart marks good ol' USA. But the only fact is we know jack shit.
