Just the other day, when Goodell called Ochocinco just to talk, league lawyers were asked why he could talk to players and coaches couldn't. Turns out teams can talk to players, as long as its not business related. Whether coaches know this or not isn't known. NFL has no way to prove whats a personal or a business call, making this shit all the more ridiculous
