Intercontinental Championship

I was watching SmackDown with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. They stated that Rhodes wants to bring back the prestige of the Intercontinental title. Well that�s awesome, however, back when the title was prestigious, they had some of the top contenders going for the belt, and it meant that you were the #1 contender for the WWE title. Nowadays, it seems like nobody wants to go for the belt.

Rhodes is feuding with Orton, why not make matches for the title? Have Rhodes cheat to win or get intentionally disqualified to keep the belt. Orton going for the title would make it seem important, seeing as he isn�t in the World Heavyweight title hunt, as it would give the title some much needed star power if Orton at least had a match with it on the line. There are quite a few guys on SmackDown who should be wrestling Rhodes in matches to build the division.
