Am I the only one who is fed up of watching Santino being squashed each week?

I am, however, aware that this might be the 56842547193798860061st thread defending Santino and advocating that he should be pushed, I just want to know why he keeps getting squashed all the time. They could do some seriously good stuff with him, especially if they were able to strike a decent balance between wrestling and his comedy. John Laryngitis anyone?
