NHL awards

go tomorrow who do you thinks gonna win them?

Hart Trophy
The Hart Memorial Trophy is an annual award given to the player judged to be the most valuable to his team. The winner is selected in a poll of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association in all NHL cities at the end of the regular season.

Jerome Iginla
Martin Broduer
Martin St. Louis

no doubt in my mind Iginla is going to take this Trophy. He's easily the best player in the NHL today so my vote goes to him.

Calder
The Calder Memorial Trophy is an annual award given to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the National Hockey League. The winner is selected in a poll of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association at the end of the regular season.

Trent Hunter
Andrew Raycroft
Michael Ryder

I'm going to say Raycroft takes this one although I wouldn't be shocked to see Ryder take it just because the people who vote on this usually like to give it to a forward rather then a goalie.

Norris
(Outstanding All-Around Defenseman)

Zdeno Chara
Scott Niedermeier
Chris Pronger

Chara will take it no doubt in my mind

FRANK J. SELKE TROPHY
(Outstanding Defensive Forward)

Kris Draper
John Madden
Alyn Mccauly

three way tie, they all lose. If I have to pick a winner though I would bet on Draper

VEZINA TROPHY
(Outstanding Goaltender)

Martin Broduer
Mikka Kiprusoff
Roberto Luongo

Luongo is my pick, if Kiprusoff wassn't injured for 6 weeks of the season it might be different, but he was and Luongo was the best goalie this year even playing on a shitty team.

LADY BYNG MEMORIAL TROPHY

(Sportsmanship and Gentlemanly Conduct)

Daniel Alfredson
Brad Richards
Martin St. Louis

I'd be picking Richards

JACK ADAMS AWARD
(Outstanding Coach)

Darryl Sutter, Calgary Flames
John Tortorella, Tampa Bay Lightning
Ron Wilson, San Jose Sharks

Sutter should take it, Tortorella is the other logical choice, but he didn't turn a team around like Sutter
