Bret Hart and Goldberg's meeting

- As previously posted, Bill Goldberg and Bret Hart had dinner together following the Stanley Cup Finals game on May 29th. The two discussed the Goldberg kick that ended Hart�s career.

�I wondered if our paths were going to cross at the game, and I hoped they would,� Goldberg said. �After all we�ve been through, I still respect and admire Bret Hart very, very much. With that kick looming over the both of us (from a WCW pay-per-view), it was kind of an issue. Fortunately it became a non-issue after our meeting.�

�I was extremely happy that (we talked) because I have wanted to talk to him for quite a while,� said Goldberg

�What we talked about is between him and I, but the overall outcome was that I feel very good about our relationship moving forward.� Goldberg said.

You know, the nagging thing here is that if Goldberg really wanted to talk with Bret, there is such a thing as a telephone. He could have called Bret like, I don't 2, 3 years ago when this happened instead of waiting for the off chance they bump into each other at a Stanley Cup game.
