ign'ant x division question

I've been watching the clips of impact on their site (since thats the only way i can currently watch any wrestling), and I learned that RVD is the X Division champ.

Last I knew TNA had the up to 220 lb rule on that belt, and rvd is over 220.

Did they drop that rule?

(yes I went the ebonics route on the subject line)
