I'm amazed Kobashi has lasted this long, some of the beatings he took in the 90s from Hansen and Williams then Misawa and Kawada were so brutal, how he has lasted another decade and a half since then is quite amazing.

one of the greatest wrestlers of the 90s and one of my favorites.



Two significant press conferences were held today.

The first one was held by Kobashi, who announced his retirement show "Final Burning in Budokan" for May 11th. It was held at the NOAH office, so I assume some heat between both sides died down and we can expect NOAH workers participating in the show.

The second conference was the Bushiroad press conference were Kidani declared that he'd resign from his NJPW chairmanship. He added that the company still would back NJPW like before. Also, Bushiroad will produce a Sentai style show that'll include New Japan workers. Seems like Tanahashi will finally become the Kamen Rider he always wanted to be. New Japan will also create an english web page in the near future. Oh, and the April 7th Sumo Hall PPV now has a name: INVASION ATTACK, make of that what you want.
