Speaking of the Mariners, how do you feel now Eddie?

"Its not about the money...I am just leaving the team that developed me for nine years and whose fans adopted me because even though they don't have a lot of money, they won't pay me as much."

Eddie, you put your foot in your mouth there. You could have stayed with the team that loved you and been in contention again, but you decided to say it wasn't about the money while leaving for more money. Eddie was a solid closer, but he was never a great pitcher, every one of his saves included like two hits. We would have loved to keep him, but I hope he's enjoying the hole he's dug for himself.

I hope the Twins sign a bunch of guys to extensions during the season just to make fun of Eddie.
