Hidden Gems in the SNES Library?
I finally broke down and downloaded an SNES emulator (snes9x) and I think I've got pretty much all the staples of the console I care about (I'm never going to want Mario Kart).
I've also picked up a couple of nostalgic games that weren't all that big TMK but I owned them so whatever (Actraiser, for example) and I picked up Earthbound, which may or may not count as a "staple" due to its cult status. But I'm wondering what else is out there. Good games beyond the ones everyone always talks about. Maybe they're unpolished, or maybe they were just too niche. Anyone got any such titles? “There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”--John Rogers |
