Irwin R. Shyster otherwise known as I..R..S!

A bad gimmick is made good because the guy total sells that it isn't a bad gimmick. It takes 100 percent dedication to make a bad gimmick work with an audience. Nothing was going to deter Mike Rotundo from making you belief he was an IRS agent trying to get WWE superstars and fans to pay their fair share in taxes. He was a true believer in himself and that's what it takes to succeed in professional wrestling.

The Red Rooster could have made it work if he gave it his all but he thought it was a slight and never tried to take it seriously. Had he done that we might have been part of his Rooster Rooters. We'll never know because we never believed that the Red Rooster wasn't just Terry Taylor with a red splotch on his hair who danced around a little bit like he was the cock of the walk. It didn't work and what made it worse is that he was always stuck with horrible gimmicks for the rest of his career. He couldn't make being the Computerized Man of the 1990s work, The Taylor Made Man, Terrific Terry Taylor or anything else work. I did like the Computerized Man of the 1990s Terrance Taylor but he didn't take that seriously or apply himself to make it work.
