I haven't watched any WWE product since WM bar Owens Raw debut, but that required a lot of skipping... How has Lucha Underground been received here?
I loved NXT, but when Striker and Vampiro got into the swing of it and the talent had stories, it was the best promotion on TV. Great segments with Puma and Mundo competing for the title, then the bigger guys came after it. Side story wise, that casket match was the only 100% good casket match I've ever seen in 20 years of watching wrestling and this is coming from a mark of the Rumble casket match where it took every heel to bury Taker. Other than the main event, the trios tag tournament not only told a fantastic story, not even just Angelico's awesome spot in the final, but Iveleyse coming out in the final with a legit fucked up ankle and doing dives off the apron. Since then, Darios office has taken a beating from all sides and I love it even more for that. Since NXT went off the boil before WM, I'd probably have stopped watching wrestling in general until the G1 if it wasn't for Lucha Underground. How are you guys finding what is in my opinion, the best all-round wrestling show on TV in 2015? ![]() |
