For those who purchased the disc-based version of the game from Amazon, the game will now arrive a day before the game's launch although servers themselves will not be available until the actual launch day.

So perhaps the hyped among you would be happy to learn that Overwatch is shipping a day early. Those who had pre-ordered received word from Amazon that the, "Previous estimated arrival date: May 24, 2016" has been replaced by the, "New estimated arrival date: May 23, 2016." However, servers still don't go live until May 24. This just gives folks with the physical edition a chance to get playing as soon as they do, rather than waiting half the release day on Big Postal Service or its privatized equivalent.
