John Cena is a bigger star without WWE than he was with WWE. You could say the same for The Rock, but it's a bit different. The Rock was like steak in the WWE, and he's now become a chain of steak restaurants. John Cena was like roast chicken in the WWE, and now he's fried chicken without WWE. His recipe is a lot different and there's more of a feeling that the shackles are off with him moving on.

And you can even feel that when he comes back, because people are happy he's there now. Thank god a star is here. Except that doesn't come from his wrestling presentation at all.
