If you’re suspending disbelief and it wasn’t scripted then that would mean he’s been soundly defeated in recent years by midcarders. So his credibility suffers.

If you’re accepting it as being its own scripted world then the character he’s playing has been soundly defeated in recent years by midcarders. So his credibility suffers.

If you want to ignore the scripted fights and only focus on the real ones then why the fuck should I care about his next scripted fight?

No matter how you look at it, there’s a major problem. There’s no reason to buy into him as a threat in the very show they’re presenting anymore other than WWE simply telling you “OMG UNSTOPPABLE BEEEAST!!!!!” and counting on your gullibility.
