Former WWE champion Brock Lesnar, who left World Wrestling Entertainment this past March following WrestleMania XX to pursue a career in the NFL, was officially cut by the NFL's Minnesota Vikings earlier today.

Despite getting offers from other teams, Lesnar's main goal was to earn a spot with Vikings as he is a Minnesota native. To many, this cut isn't a shock as the general feeling was that Lesnar, who hadn't played football since High School, wasn't going to be able to play at the level of others who have been playing the game through High School and College. Despite the cut, Lesnar's hard work was appreciated by many in the Vikings organization. Here are a few links to various stories:
