Yes, but it's not a true cap like the NFL.

You can go over it.

I know there are a few ways around it... one is they had what was known as the "Larry Bird Rule" you can resign your own player and go over the cap.

Plus they have "Salary exceptions" which allow you to go over, but when you hit a certain point over you pay a luxury tax.

So, yes, there is a cap, but it's really bullshit since almost every team goes over it.
