A quick question for the bass players around here...
I've been starting to think about picking up my (acoustic) guitar and learning how to play that, then buy an electric and learn that. I came across this bass (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/...se_pid/519243/)
and figured at that price, why not buy it and learn bass too. That way I can have the knowledge, if I ever get in a band and its needed.

So, the question to you bass players is, how good of a starter instrument do you think that one would be?
