Jevon Kearse wasn't blocked at all, the entire game. And he jumped the count every time. Culpepper got scared and dumped it off.
Jermaine Wiggins had like 10 receptions. The Eagles corners didn't do shit. But against a good, healthy line, and a good back (see: Packers) the Eagles will not win. That said, I think the Eagles will beat the Lions. In fact, facing the Lions, then the Bears in consecutive weeks? Harsh. Then they face the Ravens. Hopefully, the Ravens will amass 300 rushing yards, but :dunno: They better do a better job of gameplanning Owens than they did in preseason. Which is to say, the Ravens have a pass-rush which the Vikes don't have, and the Ravens have better linebackers which will counteract the short pass and the sweep. HOPEFULLY. *shrug* Eagles had one "tough" game in the first half of the season, and it was at home vs Minnesota. Thankfully, you can't write the Lions or the Bears off, so maybe one or both will pull an upset. Thank God for the Eagles they're in the NFC Least so they have 6 games they can't lose, plus going against the NFC North gives them two easy wins, one MNF game at home against a MN team that seems to be ready to fall apart ![]() Looks like the NFL is begging for an Eagles repeat to the NFC Championship game. But thankfully, they will choke again. |
