UK Raw and Smackdown - Trip Report

I know there's a tonne of threads for the shows, but I thought i'd write up a report of the two days.

RAW: 17:00 Monday 11th October - I walk into the hotel bar to see a table full of people. Turns out to be Dave Youell, HardKore UK, Jonster, King Jericho, Ian and about half of the CSF. After about 45mins of random Family Guy quoting, we went to get our signs and tickets, and headed for the arena. I walked there with my friend & Jonster, and we joined the queue. About half an hour later we got into the arena, and took our seats on the lower tier, had a pretty awesome view. Overall the show was amazing, it's great to see all the pyro and effects that we don't usuall see at the UK shows. Pop of the night was by far when Regal won the belts. The place exploded. Biggest heat of the night was probably for Edge, or whenever any member of La Res landed a hit on Regal.
There was a guy in the stands dressed as Hogan, who got a great reaction during breaks, and even dragged a Foley look-a-like out of the stands for a pose.

SMACKDOWN - Arrived at the area at about 6:30pm, and took our seats on the floor, with an awesome veiw once again. Noticed there where a HELL of a lot of Cena signs and shirts dotted around the arena, looks like a lot of people are going to be dissapointed. Biggest pop of the night was for Undertaker, but still probably not as good as for Regals "win" the previous night. Biggest heat was probably when Long announced that Cena would'nt be there, that pissed some people off.

All in all, it was a great few days, worth every penny I spent, can't wait to get hold of a tape of Raw to see how it cam across. KJ has a group picture at the meet, which i'll try to get him to post here.

To Dave, KJ, HardKore, Ian and Jonster - it was good to meet you.
