Chavo Guerrero's Return
Chavo Guerrero is on his way back, and I couldn't be happier. Chavo's a solid worker, with a high ethic and passion for the business. He could really take some stress of Eddie Guerrero's shoulders.
Anyway to the point, how would you like to see/hope to see Chavo Guerrero return to the SmackDown! roster as of next week? Here is the route I would take if I were in charge of booking. Chavo Guerrero visits Theodore R. Long in his office, and Teddy gives Chavo three choices. One is to challenge Spike Dudley for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. The other is to find a partner, and challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The third is to face Billy Kidman in a #1 Contender's Match for the WWE US Title. Chavo says he'll think about it. Later on we see Spike Dudley worried that Chavo's coming after his title, we see Angle/Luther/Jindrak worried Chavo will side with his uncle against them and we see Kidman upset that he might have to injure the man that started his downward spiral of confidence. Eddie Guerrero approaches Chavo and says he doesn't want to start anything, and just wants to say how he wishes his nephew the best, and he doesn't hold grudges. Chavo says that Eddie has finally become a Guerrero again by beating Reigns twice. Eddie does what a Guerrero does. Wins. Chavo & Eddie are approached by Billy Kidman, who says he doesn't want to fight Chavo, and how he feels bad for what he did to him. Kidman suggests the return of Los Guerreros to challenge a now not-so-close duo of Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree. Guerreor tells us again he's still thinking. We later see Chavo approach Rey Mysterio and we see Rey about to jump on Chavo, but Guerrero makes peace signals as he asks Rey for advice as to what he should do tonight, being a long time friend of his uncle's. Rey tells Chavo to do whatever he wants, and it is evident that Rey dislikes Chavo Later that night we see Teddy tell a bickering Suzuki and Dupree that the tag titles will be on the line tonight, regardless of Chavo's choice. Suzuki & Dupree make their way to the ring as we hear "Viva La Raza!" as Los Guerreros attempt to make history by winning the tag titles for the record-breaking third time. Los Guerreros are successful, despite interference from Jindrak, Angle & Luther. The next week on SmackDown!, Long approaches Chavo about how Chavo misunderstood what was said last week. Chavo had a choice about which match we wanted last week. This week Chavo has a choice between the US Title #1 Contender's Match with Kidman, and the Cruiserweight Tiitle shot. Chavo chooses the CW Title match, and asks Long if he can give Eddie the US Contendership match. Long obliges, and we have Chavo win the CW Title, and Eddie get injured with a Shooting Star Press after Luther & Jindrak interfere. Chavo & Eddie now have feuds going with Jindrak & Luther, The Dudleys, Spike Dudley, Billy Kidman & Paul London (Who can use the excuse that Billy only did what he did because Chavo got injured, and that it was his fault he lost the WWE Tag Team Championship, and now Kidman's doing the SSP again, Los Guerreros are going to lose the championship back to Kidman & London).
