Mech Assault 2

What a total crapfest that game looks like.

Now, normally I don't go off on rants like this, but Mechwarrior happens to be my favorite videogame series. Seeing how they've bastardized the mechwarrior universe this way just pisses me off.

Ok, so you've got over a dozen games in the series about these giant robotic walking tanks that you can pilot. Now how do you make the newest game? Right. You give the main character ONE mech that they go around in, it's only 6 foot tall, and it's "gundam"esque in its invincibility. Congratulations, you've just turned a unique game series into a run of the mill first person shooter.

Excuse me while I flick off my TV screen some more....
