Yeah getting pretty sick of this junk...We have 2 comptuer in my house. I used to have a regular router, store bought like 100 bucks. A pretty popular brand just plug the 3 cords in there and it worked. But it broke, so we have been switching the internet back and forth between the computers which is a pain in the ass aswell as a total waste. Now my step dad got some "router" from the school he works at. I cannot figure it out. After reading about it online I am even more clueless. I tried hooking up the modemn and the 2 other computers into but it would knock one computer off the internet when another one turned on.

That is the exact model I have..its probably not even the right equipment I need. I don't want a network or anyhting like, or info going from this computer to the other one, I just need to bascially spilt the cable modem so I can online on 2 different computers at the sametime.
