To you, who are the 5 guys who made wrestling...

enjoyable to you?

This is just a topic I thought of, boredom I suppose. But try and think hard, who are 5 guys, who through out your time of watching, really and truly made you love the sport. Try and do it in order.

1. Paul Heyman: Heyman is a creative genius. I had stopped watching wrestling for the most part after around 97, until I stumbled upon some ECW tapes. When I watched ECW it was probably the most fun and enjoyment I had through wrestling. Just brilliant writing, controversial storylines, and great character development. Heyman always mentions this, as has everyone associated with him, Paul was incredible at hiding your flaws, and showcasing your strengths.

2. Shawn Michaels: From a talent perspective, I didn't for a long time think it could get any better. Shawn was one of the first heels I really enjoyed, incredible in ring talents, amazing psychology and just flat out put on a show. He wasn't the biggest, but the way his character was built and through his ability to play it, I was hooked. His victory at WrestleMania 12 is probably my favorite moment. One of the two guys in history (Bret being the other) who could carry ANYONE and EVERYONE to at least a 4 star match (Nash and Sid anyone?)

3. Ted Dibiase/Jake Roberts: I honestly don't know why but I always group these two together. AMAZING heels, probably the two best in the history of the business. Both had amazing psychology and just that certain intangible that made me want to watch. Jake's promo's were amazing, and Ted had the ability to walk out and play his character better than anyone else on the card.

4. Kurt Angle: Kurt is the guy who made me watch when there was no other reason. Probably the best all around performer ever. Great on the mic, incredible in ring talents and just flat out uncanny ability to make his opponent look good without losing any credibility at all. Kurt could lose to the Gooker and still be over like a million bucks.

5. Ultimo Dragon: Dragon is a legend, and the sad thing is, he's probably one of the only legends who the casual fan could look at and not know a damn thing about. Great innovator of moves, uncanny ability, and unreal passion. Ultimo could carry most anyone to a great match. His moves were mesmerizing and just awe striking. Truly a pleasure to have been fortunate enough to watch a ton of his matches, both in Japan the States.

Honorable mentions: Dynamite Kid, Chris Beniot, William Regal, Dean Malenko, Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Taz, Don Callis, and Bret Hart
