4th Kayfabe Corner: Random Stuff / Post To Be in My 3,000th Post

Fast guy with fringed boots, a big open overcoat & multi-colored tights.

He comes running to the ring with blaring music, and shakes the ropes.

Any wrestling fan could instantly tell you who I am describing. That's right.

Paul London....or as I like to call him:

Ultimate Warrior 3000

You will only understand that if you caught SD! on the 17th. Anyhow continuing with that SD! episode, here are my thoughts. Marty Jannetty was ON as usual. Since signing Jannetty, I believe they should call him "The Next Biggest Thing" & give him the Title - and then he could quit wrestling to pursue his life-long goal of getting out of Shawn Michaels' shadow.

That's so wrong. I do <3 Marty.

In a new WWE idea, on SD! on the 17th, they debuted a segment called: "A Glimpse Into Wrestler's Futures". In the first installment, they went to 2008: Carlito reading a newspaper and selling hotdogs for a living. I'm kidding, I'm kidding.....we all know Puerto Ricans can't read newspapers.

A note to The Big Show about his SD! 3/17 quote: "His massive size, that powerful thrusting, his amazing technique". Val Venis appreciates the shout out, and the new action figure with the exclusive pink towel, but he knows Vince will let go of his ass eventually. Literally.

The rest of SD! I won't cover, since I really don't give a fu(k about it. Be'lee dat, playa. Now moving on.

Jamie K-noble did an interview on the GHR. He said he,"misses the money and TV exposure the most about not being apart of WWE." 1/2 of WWE's current roster completely agreed on that note, and they are part of the WWE.

Steve Corino left ROH's lockerroom under mysterious circumstances. He said that it was a business thing, between he and management, not anything personal. Steve Corino's son, young Colby Corino, also left ROH.....with Rob Feinstein

The 24th's edition of SD! featured Carlito dressed as Elvis. Apparently The Honky Tonk Man 3000 gimmick is now underway. There are currently discussions on who will portray 'Colonel Jimmy Hart 3000', 'Greg Valentine With Horrible Black Hair 3000', 'Rockabilly 3000', & 'Ted DiBiase Who Misses Out On Winning The WWF Title Due To Honk's Politicking 3000'.

This continues the streak of 3000 gimmicks, including the above mentioned London / Warrior one, and Snitszky's 'Warlord 3000' gimmick - complete with facial hair, gigantic muscles, and generic 80's big man walk / look. I'm not even mentioning 'Virgil 3000' or the other gimmicks - although I guess I just did.

SD! showed signs of the major economic slump of the United States. In an effort to cut costs, WWE cutback in several areas - most notably: Carlito ate only 1/2 of his apple, the lights went out while Undertaker made an entrance, Sherri Martel wore only 1/2 of a blouse, and John Cena's lock and chain was re-used from Sean O'Haire's cage.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony draws closer. With Sylvester Stallone inducting Hogan, we may see a Wrestlemania moment of Mr.T showing up and challenging Stallone to a re-match from Rocky. Security will then escort him off the property, and he will be committed.

Anyhow, I'm off - but enough about my psychological well-being. You can post here to possibly be included in my upcoming 3,000th post extravaganza.
