THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS WILL BE A PLAYOFF CONTENDER. POSSIBLY AS HIGH AS A 4TH SEED.

If they can make an incredible draft pick, then this team will be the 04-05 Suns.

That is, if they don't pull a Warriors type of move and trade Davis for nothing. (Which I seriously don't even think they will do.)
Reasons why this will not happen

1. Warriors are the worst drafters in NBA history, they will either draft some useless foreign big man or trade the pick for nothing.
2. If things are going good by the All-Star Break they will trade Dunleavy and/or Davis and completely ruin the team's chemistry. If things are going shitty they will trade their entire roster. Chris Mullin always panicks.
3. Their bench is weak. Derek Fisher and can be a good spark and Mickael Pietrus can give productive minutes for JRich but other than that they are shitty. Calbert Cheany, Zarko Cabarkapa, Andris Biderins, yuck.
4. Richardson has too big of an ego to do what Shawn Marion and Amare Statudemire did and let the point guard run the team.
5. Face it, Dunleavy has been a bust
6. Adonal Foyle SUCKS. Just plain out SUCKS. The most overpaid player in professional sports, he'll make $6.5 million next year to give 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks a game. That salary along with Baron Davis' $12.3 million prohibits them from picking up a good SF or C which they really need.
7. They're the Warriors! Come on, maybe in a few years, but the bets I could see them doing is slipping in at 7 or 8 and getting swept in the first round.
