TPWW’s TNA Tournament – ROUND ONE

Match 1: A-1 vs. Trytan
Result: Coach D’Amore distracts Trytan which allows A-1 to come up from behind and hit him with a Pump Handle Slam for the victory. (11-4) A-1

Match 2: Abyss vs. Matt Bentley (Michael Shane)
Result: Matt’s new ring name couldn’t help him from falling to the Black Hole Slam. (10-7) Abyss

Match 3: Monty Brown vs. Petey Williams
Result: Petey simply side steps the Pounce, when Brown turns around there is a swift kick to the gut, a Canadian Destroyer, and it’s all over. (15-2) Petey Williams

Match 4: Jeff Jarrett vs. Boddy Rude
Result: Jeff Jarrett tries to swing his NWA World Title at Bobby’s head, everyone is confused seeing as how he isn’t champ anymore, Bobby shrugs and delivers a Northern Lariat for the pin. (11-7) Bobby Rude/Roode

Match 5: Shark Boy vs. Chase Stevens
Result: Don’t know how, but Shark Boy hits a Dead Sea Drop for the victory. (13-4) Shark Boy

Match 6: Jerry Lynn vs. Chris Harris
Result: Harris tried, but without his partner he fell flat on his head with the help of Jerry Lynn and the Cradle Piledriver. (17-1) Jerry Lynn

Match 7: Andy Douglas vs. Sean Waltman
Result: The chants of “X-Pac Sucks!” slowly dies as Sean wins over the fans...a crowd pleasing Bronco Buster, and the arena has people chanting a different tune. (13-5) Sean Waltman

Match 8: Rhino vs. James Storm
Result: Rhino is in the ring as James Storm steps through the ropes and...GORE! GORE! GORE! (16-1) Rhino

Match 9: Konnan vs. Christopher Daniels
Result: I guess no one cheered for him since no one could understand a fucking word Konnan said... (17-1) Christopher Daniels

Match 10: Eric Young vs. Chris Sabin
Result: Even Team Canada’s Eric Young was no match for Chris Sabin, as he easily destroys not only Young but his friends as well. HAIL SABIN! (16-2) Chris Sabin

Match 11: AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy
Result: After one too many blunts backstage, Hardy decides it’s a good idea to take a nap...no one minds when AJ covers his sleeping body for the pin. (17-1) AJ Styles

Match 12: Kip James vs. Lance Hoyt
Result: A battle of the big (well, at least bigger then most) men rages on in the ring. However the former Outlaw simply has a bit more gas in him and outlasts Hoyt for a Fame-Ass-Er finish. (13-5) Kip James

Match 13: Elix Skipper vs. Shocker
Result: Shocker never shows up... (18-0) Elix Skipper

Match 14: Johnny Devine vs. Raven
Result: Clothesline, picks ‘em up, Evenflow DDT, and it’s not even close. (18-1) Raven

Match 15: Alex Shelly vs. BG James
Result: These two battle for quite some time...dead even through the whole thing, at the last minute Alex pulls out a Shellshock for the victory. (9-8) Alex Shelly

Match 16: Ron Killings vs. Sabu
Result: With word that his fellow 3LK members have both been beaten, Killings just didn’t have the same fight in him, and Sabu picks up the win. (10-18) Sabu
