And nary a mention of the 6-3 game tonight for the Oil against the Sharks. Sharks went up 2-0, Edmonton scored, then San Jose made it 3-1. Then the Oil scored FIVE unanswered goals...

Hmm...what's that I smell? Shark fin cooked in Oil? Oh I hope they take it to them in the HP pavilion and then win it at home. I don't know what they'll do, if they win, against a well rested Ducks team but for now...savour the moment....

Hurricanes-Sabres and Ducks-??? as the finals? I honestly can't pick between San Jose and Edmonton, kinda hoping for the Oilers

Right that's why 3 out of the 4 Sabres wins went to OT. That's why each game was decided by one goal, that's why the Sens outshot the Sabres in the large majority of the games. Look I'm not aguing that Buffalo didn't deserve to win this series (the Sens screwed themselves), but to try and make it sound like the Sabres dominated the Sens or something is crap.

That being said my hat goes off to the Sabres for taking advantage of Ottawa's implosion and for their amazing work at trapping the Heatley/Spezza/Eaves line in their own zone a lot in game 5.

There is one definitive in the series and that was Ryan Miller played better then Emry. Emry didn't play bad, actually he played well but Miller is unbeatable.

Lara, the Sabres were the better team. I don't care if 3 of the Buffalo wins were in OT. They were wins. Win = better team. Ottawa was the better team on only one night. Ottawa underachieved once again. Come playoffs they play just well enough to loose. That's not a sign of a great team on the rise.

Enjoy your regular seasons, they do well there.

The ONLY time that a team advanced to the next round this year, that was not the better team, were the Canes over the Habs. The Habs outplayed the Canes in that series, but the refs and bounces all went the Canes way.

I might even take the Rangers and Flyers too. Not saying Montreal is a bad team but they are hardly the best team to be eliminated from the playoffs.

The second goal was pure hard work by the Oilers, just watching them I said to my dad they deserve a goal here and sure enough 10 seconds later they scored. This Oilers team is a treat to watch, I said they would be at the start of the season.

What Ottawa needs is a guy like Messier was. Someone that's won championships, someone to come in and become the type of leader the Sens have never had.

No Tampa Bay lightning, no Sharks. Only Canadian team I really care for right now is the Flames but they are out. None of my favourites are left so I suppose I will just enjoy the games and not really pick a favourite.

Canes look to be doing all right, nice defensive block into the net. Got close near the end, 4-3.

Bruins had no shot of making the playoffs period so now I want Buffalo to win. I used to hate them, but this year they really turned around and I think they are the overall best team in the NHL, even without anybody that single-handedly stands out.
