I would rather hear it turns out Shelton Benjamin was on the phone to Stephanie McMahon, and that Shelton has been giving Steph a different kind of "Exploder". Steph begs Vince to have Shelton beat HBK via Vince's newfound control over Michaels, but HBK "doesn't lie down for anybody".

Shawn Michaels and Shelton Benjamin battle into WrestleMania 22 where Shelton finally goes over Michaels. To make things more interesting, let's continue into Backlash where the two can have a Money in the Bank Ladder Match with Benjamin going over when the briefcase is elevated out of Shawn's reach when he goes to grab it, and Exploder off the ladder later and Benjamin climbs and gets the contract for himself.
