They gave some lame excuse, that his knee was still down when he kneed the ball out. It made absolutely no sense, and its kind of funny how anouncers just move on and don't criticize the call even though both of them thought it was an interception. The sad thing is, is that i wanted the Colts to win, but i wouldn't have felt right if they would have won the game under those circumstances. The Steelers outplayed them and deserved to win. I just hope Denver wins next week because there is something about Pittsburgh that i can't stand. I think it's Cowher's assanine facial expressions. |

As much as I hate the Steelers I gotta hand it to them for putting the pressure on Manning the whole game. Looks like I'm cheering for Seattle now.

For me, the three most overrated teams this year are the Bears, Broncos, and Seahawks.
So as long as the Broncos and Seahawks lose, I will be happy. |

When Brackett caused that fumble on the 2 yard line and Harper picked it up and started running it back. I went from like 0-1,000,000 on the excitment meter. I'm shocked i didnt have a heart attack. I cant help but feel if Harper would have run straight instead of cut back he might have atleast took it to the 15 or something. The guy was injured tho. He had that knife wound and he had a really jacked up knee ( it looks jacked up ).
I was flipping out when that happend. I mean jumping on walls , flipping out. Then good o'le Mikey Vanderjact fucked my day. Manning choked btw. If he would have just cut it loose in the first place instead of waiting til the 4th quarter, we might be in the playoffs stills. I'm convinced that Indiana is cursed in sports. We'll always get real close in football and basketball, but never actually win the whole thing. Its torture i tell you. |

And that Palamalu interception that was overturned. Look i'm a die hard Colts fan, but i have to admit.
The fix was in. That guy took like 5 minutes to look at that. It was almost like someone from the league called him and gave him the exact wording to use when he overturned the call. That was rediculous. I didnt wanna win it like that ( Tho if we would have won , i wouldnt say a damn thing ... ). Oh well. I doubt we will ever field a team as good as this one and i'm pretty convinced i wont see any of my teams win a title any time soon. It really just isnt meant to be in Indiana. I just dont know what else to say. |

I just hope that Payton doesn't get stuck like Marino did by being the greatest quarterback and yet never getting the ring.
Eli will get one, I'm just not sure that Payton will. |

If I have to sit through years of Eli falling short at such a young age, I might just quit before it begins.

I just feel that the Seahawks, above all other teams, are a product of their schedule. Of the 13 wins, maybe 5 are legit.
They went 6-0 in their division? Well then thats got to mean they're Super Bowl bound. To take on the powerhouse Cardinals and 49ers four times in a season, that tells you this team is destined for the championship. The Rams are the only team to pose a type of a threat but they were below .500 also and didn't impress either. But don't stop the presses just yet, because the Seahawks also played the Titans, Texans, and Eagles. This "incredible offense" of the Seattle had 4 more net yards than the Eagles while most of their TDs came from picking the future Hall of Famer, Mike McMahon. They just barely squeaked by the Giants. In my opinion, New York outplayed them in just about every way. They even had a zillion false starts, and still managed to put up a fight. Feely just fucked it up. True, they also beat the Colts. The Colts were without Marvin Harrison, Bob Sanders, and Cato June. Manning only played a quarter. They did already clinch home-field. BUT WHOS COUNTING. That leaves the Falcons and the Cowboys. At the time, the Falcons wern't terrible and Seattle did a pretty good job the first half. Almost blew it in the second half though. They just barely edged out the Cowboys in that final drive too. Should the Seahawks be a playoff team? Probably. Should they be a number 1 seed? Probably not. In my opinion, I haven't been impressed with them all season. And I know The Miz is going to shoot me down and give me sats and analysis, but don't bother because I don't care. I don't want to get into a Miz-Vel/RP-Vel/whatever type of arguement that goes on forever. They just haven't impressed me and thats why. |

The Broncos may not be overrated, they just make me angry. Why is it that not one god damn team in the NFL can figure out a play to stop the bootleg. I swear, Jake bootlegs like a million times every game and it always gets them. It's like the defense just stops in their tracks with their jaws wide open and go "OMG WTF a bootleg? WHAT DO WE DOOO?!?!!111" You'd think of the 11 athletes on the field and the brains of the coordinaters and coaches that SOMEONE would figure out just one play to prevent it. It just pisses me off is all.

Hey RP,
Just wondering how the reaction/press is in Indy vs. nationally. Nationally 2 people are getting it hard. 1) Vanderjerk, because this isn't the first time he's missed a "key kick" and this was in a dome. 2) Manning, not for his play, but his comments after the game about the OL. Quote:
I dunno, just seems to me like he hung his OL out to dry on that one, that's a comment I'd expect from Dan Marino, and didn't expect that from Manning personally. and how's Johnny Walker Black work for ya? (got a bottle as a holiday gift I haven't cracked yet). |
