The Braves havent "done it correct". They have to drop payroll and thats why they cant keep their stars. They are forced into building from within. Its not like they have been planning this out to lose Sheff, Castilla, Maddux and Glavine.

Homegrown players for us are Pat Burrell, Mike Lieberthal, Marlon Byrd, Jimmy Rollins, Brett Myers, Randy Wolf, and Chase Utley. We then went out and got the players we need to get over the hump.
