DVD on computer problem
I just bought some RoH dvds and I'm trying to play them on my computer and the video is playing fine but there is no sound. I've run it on both Real Player and Windows Media 11Beta. Anyone have any suggestions or am I just out of luck?

First off, are they legit DVDs? Not burned ones?
If so, it may be a codec problem, although I'm skeptical to even suggest that. Try downloading VLC and see if sound starts. If so, it's a codec problem. I kind of saved this for last because it's an obvious problem but is your mute on? |

I'm pretty sure all of ROH's stuff is burned. I could be wrong though.

I kind of figured the same thing. It could have been burned incorrectly and without the audio.

If you have a fairly recent DVD player try it in that and see if the audio works. It may not work at all, though, depending on the player.

Or, you can try a program like: Powerdvd or Windvd and check out and see what happens.

If other DVDs play fine on your computer, it is a problem with the DVDs.
