The WWE went psycho and shot half the roster. This was called the the contract release. 10+ superstars were killed (kayfabe). The reason they were "killed" was so they wouldn't go to TNA or something.

"At Wrestlemania XXX, the Monkey Fight Death Match ended in a no contest, which is complete bullocks. The guys at WWE were pissed off about losing the rights of being called the WWF to that crappy animal company, so at Craplash, the WWF title was on the line in a 6 man eskimo match between the Rock, Dave the Panda, John Cena, Flappers, Flipper & Hulk Hogan. Flipper got eliminated first by Hulk Hogan when he used his crappy leg drop move; Luckily (for us, at least), Hogan got his thrown through an igloo & he went head first into it. After some 26 years...FINALLY, HULKAMANIA IS DEAD. Dave the Panda used the P-500 on Flappers & trapped him in a net, so it was down to 3 men. The Rock quickly murdered John Cena with a pitchfork; that meant no more crappy rap albums. The Rock then made the panda submit with a sharpshooter. A crappy end to an otherwise good match."
