How they made a DVD about his career when his career was barely 2 years long with nothing of worth is beyond me. No, wait, it's the WWE. Never mind.

Just another display of the length of their boner for him. Lesnar WAS WWE's son. Not just the "Next Big Thing," he was going to be the First Big Thing, the first new megastar after the end of the Attitude Era and the beginning of whatever this will be known as (probably the Split-Brand Era or something.) With Lesnar, everyone could be happy; Vince could have his Flagship Captain Big Man, marks could have an unstoppable beast to love or hate depending on what the creatives felt like doing with him, and smarks could have their technical prodigy. When Lesnar's star fell, everything WWE had been planning crashed to the ground in a heap of flaming rubble that still hasn't been extinguished.

But people, just remember that if that hadn't happened, we may never have seen this:

So take the good with the bad.

Seeing as his first year included a big debut, winning King of the Ring, going over Rock, Hogan, Taker, RVD, Big Show and Angle, winning the title at Summerslam, turning from major heel to major face, winning the Royal Rumble, and winning the main event of Wrestlemania..; how can you say that he didn't have anything of worth to cover on home video? Especially when some of the matches were excellent?

Does any of that stuff matter five years later?
