"WWE Logic Rules"
Okay, now I just watched Triple H place a sledgehammer through a plastic screen and it exploded. I would be shocked, but this is WWE reality...things that happen in WWE don't always happen in the real world. Therefore, I want to put together a list of things that can happen in the WWE, but not the real world.

The best on the list I'll make official. I'll start it off with the most obvious right now...

1.) When you throw a sledgehammer at a plastic screen, it explodes.

2.) When a leparchan paints a door on the wall, he can go through it.

3.) When a leparchan paints a door on the wall, Carlito can't go through it.

4.) 98% of Irish whips result in a 180 degree turn.

5.) People are incapable of pulling a 300lb. man down while he is walking on a rope and he is holding their hand.

6.) People would rather put their hands up for a chair shot rather than move out of the way.


I know more, but I'll leave it to you guys to come up with more...

It really bothers me that an authority figure like Mr. McMahon was not smart enough to send either Shawn Michaels or Triple H one of the other brands back when he had trouble with D-Generation X.

If you have a major problem with somebody, rather than phone them, e-mail them, go to their home or even discuss it with them when you see them in work in the interim, you must wait until the following week when there are television cameras rolling to bring your grievances up.

If you enter a business relationship with somebody (for example, form a tag team) and eventually decide to go it alone, rather than simply sever your working relationship with said business partner, you must instead physically assault them when they least expect it and beat them to a bloody pulp.

That was one of my favourite things about Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch's short lived split a while ago. There was no fabricated break-up, they just went their separate ways.

If there is an angle with something like someone getting hit from behind with a steel chair, and they think it's their partner when it is not, or an ally puts someone in harm's way for their own gain (see Jamie Noble with Nidia whilst feuding against Kyo Dai), the central wrestler is unable to check the tapes, or get in touch with friends or family who watched the show.

It seems that an employee's life does not exist during the week, and they simply come alive every time the cameras start rolling.

If you miss a top rope move, despite landing exactly the same way as you would otherwise, it suddenly hurts a hell of a lot.

The very same act, with the very same intentions, takes on two completely different meanings depending on whether or not you are loved by the crowd or not. See: Chavo Guerrero using the three amigos being "disrespectful," whereas Rey doing it is "a tribute"; dropping a woman on her head; attacking a future opponent from behind.

A Chair shot will render an opponent unconcious in a regular match but its gonna take 30 or so of them when the same opponent is in a hardcore match.

The ref will believe that the heel tag team tagged into the ring behind his back, but for some reason he MUST see the face team tag in before he allows the other wrestler to get into the ring.

Its ok for an opponent to (very obviously) assist doing a move that results in them being beaten, example: the stratusfaction.

In just about every raw main event as soon as someone gets tossed outside the ring we cut to a commercial,

A kick in the balls is a dq, but a knee to the balls thinly disguised as a wrestling move (inverted atomic drop) goes unpunished.

Punches for some reason make stomping sounds

When you get cut open its in the same place every time.

When youve got your opponent in a boston crab the person applying the move will obligingly stand up and move backward so his opponent can reach the bottom rope.

A chair shot to the head is likely to cut you open but for whatever reason the sharper brass knuckles are just gonna knock you down for the three count with no physical damage visible.

Sledgehammers always hurt more when ones hand is covering the head.

The pumphandle slam works probably once out of every 35 times trying it. Unless you're against a jobber then it works flawlessly every time.

If your talking trash about someone that is not there that night, somehow by the end of the show they arrive and beat your ass.

There are enough locker rooms in each arena for everyone to have their own.

The GM/Commissioner can have an office that looks the same every week, despite being in a different city/arena.

Where as a wrestler can take 30 - 40 mins of punishment in a match, it only takes one move to KO them in any other situation.


Wrestlers don't notice the camera crew filming them when they're having private conversations.


The refs can't hear or feel the movement of someone interferring behind their back.

When you put on that referee's shirt, you instantly become weak and feeble.

The sound equipment always spark and explode when you fall onto them.

Low-blows are OK only if you're Ric Flair.

Wrestlers trained for high-flying moves are suddenly incapable of pulling them off without injuring anybody (hence their banning).

The camera doesn't really exist, and you're really alone backstage.

The fans do not have any sort of long-term memory capabilities.

Punching somebody in the head repeatedly causes a clear laceration and bleeding.

(That's all I can think of for the time being.)

In a Royal Rumble or battle royal, simply draping a wrestler over the top and trying to push them out will never work for some reason even if you completely outweigh the person you are trying to eliminate.

1.) It’s perfectly OK to let a superstar moving to another brand and becoming an active competitor once again, waste 10 minutes of everyone’s life with red and black balloons, fireworks and a speech 2 weeks in a row, because if you’re Vince McMahon, that’s the kind of programming that will really pull in the big ratings numbers.

2.) If you’re John Cena, Hulk Hogan or Triple H, you can pretty much just do whatever the hell you want to do, whenever you want to do it.

*It should be noted if they are Raw wrestlers and in a hot feud, it is very possible that they are at home with their families watching Raw getting irate when the guy they are fueding with is calling them a wussy.
