Yeah when it was happening, I was bitching about it to everyone in the room who would listen.

I don't feel any feelings of resentment to Brock Lesnar or Goldberg for what they did. Why? As soon as they got in the ring the ****ing "You sold out" chants started. That's ****ing bullshit. I'm not sure about Goldberg, so if that's the case for him fine (I don't know what his deal is or why he's leaving). But for Lesnar, give me a ****ing break. He isn't selling out to go to the NFL or anything. From what I understood he was tired, miserable, and didn't want to be there anymore. Why should he stick around if he's not enjoying himself? And even worse, Steve Austin did THE EXACT SAME ****ING THING AND THE PEOPLE STILL LOVE HIS ASS. At least Brock didn't walk out on his own. Besides, there is no guarantee he'll even make it past training camp in the NFL. He is simply tired of being in the WWE.

I am actually happy with what they did. Even if Brock and Goldberg put on a 5-star match, people still would have booed them and been little dickless shits about it. So why the hell should they do anything to cater to the fans? If they're going to be ungrateful little shits about it, they don't deserve to see a quality wrestling match from them two. That really pissed me off. Brock Lesnar and Goldberg did exactly what I would have done in that situation.

Well, I'm kinda tired, and I have just got in, I haven't read ANY of the thread yet, but I'll add my two cents pence:

Paul Bearer is back, yipee, who better then the 10th, 11th and 12th wonder of the universe to re-introduce the dead man. I think his enterance was very well written, as it is very typical of The Undertaker to have druids. And he walked the top rope and did the tombstone. On a slightly more serious note, I hope several of the fans beat the fuck out of the fan who had a sign saying 'Owen Vs Kane'. (For those who missed it, it was a yellow sign that the camera pointed to right at the start of the show.)

I'm glad Shawn didn't win the title match, him even being in the match still pisses me off, what was the point of him being there.

Rock and Sock were bags of fun as ever, Foley is God. It was pretty cool when Flair and Rocky started imitating each others taunts, .

The Tag team matches could have varied, they were quite similar.

The Cruiserweight title was kinda lame at times, mainly because wrestlers were going out too easy, like the first person to be pinned wasn't there for long, and the green mist thing was bullshit. LOL at Ultimo Dragon fucking up twice on his enterance.

LOL at the crowd in the Lesnar/Goldberg match. I think that King and JR dealt with it well too, they had to mention the NFL. It was a shame that the fans didn't clap Lesnar, and give him a standing ovation at the end, I would have done.

Pros:
Minimal authority stuff: Very little Vince, very little Bischoff, no Heyman.
Cena winning, especially the way he did it.
Bobby Heenan.
Jesse Ventura.
Eddie retaining, especially the way HE did it.
The fans during Oldberg and Leavingsner.
Rock and Foley showing HHH how to put over new guys and still look good.
Austin seeing Goldberg and Lesnar out the door.
Austin getting hit in the face with a beer can. Sue me, I like slapsticky stuff.
Trish's heel turn. God she was getting stale.
Victoria retaining. Molly doesn't look bad bald.
Molly being bondaged to the barber chair.

So I'm a pervert, sue me again.
Taker's new outfit. Did we really think they were going to revert totally? His new deal is a perfect hybrid of old and new.
Paul Bearer. I marked out for "OOOOHHHHHHH YYYYYEEESSSSSSS"
Benoit winning.
HHH tapping clean.
HHH tapping clean to Benoit.

Cons:
The tag title matches. Pure filler.
The "Playboy" match. I literally took a piss break.
JR and Lawler during the Women's Title match. They sounded drowsy.
Hmmmm.... that's all I can think of right now. I'm going to bed so I can wake up tomorrow and shout "BENOIT IS WORLD CHAMPION" from the rooftops.

I thought that it was a pretty good PPV. All the matches were great except for the Goldberg/Lesnar match. The only thing that kept that entertaining was the fans. All the chants made me stayed tune. The best match of all was the main event and what a main event it was. But really was anyone not expecting Beniot to walk away with the title. The only disapointment I had was that everyone was talking about The Hitman making a showing and then later was told that it was fake. I cant believe that. I think he should of returned tonight even if it was for one show.

What was the funny about the night to me was that I am both a big Foley fan and a big Orton fan. When Orton landed the RKO I jumped up and yelled in excitement but then quickly realized that it wasnt on Rock and was wondring what have I done. Oh well. Evolution wins just like I thought. All to set up Foley Vs Orton at the next ppv. Maybe it will be a hardcore match. That would make it even better.

For the sake of not taking up most the page I only quoted the first part.

I agree, I would have been like screw this, why bother.

Tonight was the first night I was disappointed in the fans. I've never really thought anything the whole crowd did was wrong, I mean, there were individuals, but never the whole crowd.

Big ups to Brock and Berg for not saying screw it and leaving the ring, and I understand why they didn't try to put on a great match. And I'm proud of Brock for giving them the bird. Like you said at least Brock is finishing his commitments, and not walking out on the company unlike Austin.

Something tells me originally Brock had the mentality of trying to steal the show before the crowd acted the way they did (just a hunch).

Let's not forget that most of these people loved Brock and were entertained by him for over a year.

What You Didn't See On WrestleMania XX

What You Didn't See On WrestleMania XX

Thanks to Mike Johnson for the following:

After Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit hugged and soaked in the cheers of the crowd, Benoit's wife Nancy, his two children, and his father came to the ring and celebrated with Benoit.

As the group left, Benoit was given a standing ovation from the fans at Madison Square Garden.

I was only really dissappointed with it as it was over hyped. if it was hyped as an In Your House PPV then it would have been quite good, but for 'the biggest Wrestlemania ever' it failed mostly. Y2J Christian was good though, would have been better if it was a ladder match or something. Tag matches were crap. Big Show is as interesting as a flushing turd, Foley is just a shadow of himself. Angle Eddie was hardly gripping, last match was cool, G.I Molly was funny. Flash Mysterio too. Benoit making HHH tap made me check twice.

Overall though, not great by a long shot.

I'll tell ya what. I READ that Benoit made HHH tap out and I marked out.

That is a huge shock.

Obviously, Wrestlemania did not live up to the hype, but it would have been very hard for it to do so.

However, this is "where it all begins again." Overall, it was a great show, and a lot of the young guys got wins. The WWE can definitely start afresh here. With Benoit and Guerrero as champs, we can have some great potential feuds, so I'm definitely excited.

And wow, there are/were like 120 people online in here!
