Flip Saunders is to the NBA as Marty Schottenheimer is to the NFL. They can kick some serious ass in the regular season, but somehow seem to fail during the playoffs.

Flip only had a year left. Maybe if Dumars went and found a big name, Detroit could go back to the finals.

Detriot suffers from lack of motivation, and their one big man doesn't show up half the time. Saunders shouldn't have been fired. He'll go somewhere else and win I'm sure.
