So, maybe for the 30 years before I saw him, But there's at least 5 years where I know he wasn't wrestling. So, claiming a 35 year career? THat'd be a lie.

Now, even though I have never seen a perfectly exocuted side Russian Leg Sweep in a pub fight recently, That phrase sums up what Pro Wrestling is. It is a meant to be an officiated fight. If the guy in the ring, can make it look like he is beating the shit out of his opponent, but actually isn't, and in turn look like he is getting his arse kicked, but isnt, then your man right there is a Wrestler.

I thought the IWC might have grasped this by now, inbetween sucking Chris Jericho's love muscle, but I guess there are still a few with this narrow mentality.

He wasn't much in the last 8 years, granted. But his legacy was built in old NWA. The matches and fueds are there to be seen. Also, in his first run in WWF, I would say his finest matches were vs Savage at WM8, Hennig in a retirement match on an early Raw, and Bret when he dropped the title.... It was on Prime Time Wrestling or something.

Just go and watch a few, and stop being silly now.

Contradicting yourself in your opening statement doesn't really fuel the fire to call me "silly". Listen, kids, there are good wrestlers and there are bad wrestlers. Ric Flair is a bad wrestler who just managed to stay in the ring for an unnecessarily long period of time.

I know this is not the demographic to take to flair, but I guess it all boils down to what you have seen. If you have never seen Flair from the early 80's, how can you praise his work?
