Storm on TNA: "why are there so many stupid people?"

Granted, if this statement was made by anyone here on the forums, it's business as usual. Why some fans (including me to an extent) take it more seriously is because he's Lance Storm. He's wrestled across the world, for the 3 major promotions of the late 90's, helped develop matches and storylines in ECW, and is one of the most technically sound wrestlers the industry had. So his opinion goes from the weight of a pissed off fan to that of a professional complaining about his dieing industry. On top of this, while he can act at times like an online wrestling nerd, most of the time he is fairly composed and gives a straight, honest answer for all questions he's asked. This is also refreshing to the bat-shit crazy rants of other wrestlers online.

Still, realizing him bitching doesn't change a damn thing, it's still nice to hear it from an industry professional. It's like Bill Clinton making comments of the problems of the Democratic Party, or Bill Gates discussion the wrongs of Window's Vista and OSX. It just means a little more when it comes from someone who knows what they're talking about.

But Storm was making witty and insightful comments on the wrestling world, and now he's just to the point of "TNA is stupid."

Also, the majot difference between him and Gates or him and Clinton is that they are still relavent to their fields and can sway the outcome. They're still powerful men, movers and shakers. Storm is a blogger.

But, but, b-but!

Storm watched TNA, and posted his thoughts on it. They may not be anything groundbreaking, but what do you expect Lance Storm to do? Wave a magic wand and make everything better for them? What's especially funny is that you go on to post your thoughts on TNA a little later, which are exactly what people have been saying for years.

It seems to me that Storm posted his thoughts on TNA because a) he felt like it, and b) because he was just trying to entertain those who read his blogs. There's nothing wrong with that. Also, what Storm posted would pretty much sum up the problems with TNA's on-screen product. If you don't think that qualifies as "insightful," I don't know what would.
