You have to go underground through a couple of stations. Once you get there it's pretty tough, I'd send the dog to 101.

Can you go to the White House and/or the Pentagon?
I doubt that the Pentagon made the cut due the game being 16 miles large but it seems like you should be able to go to the White House. Just currious. |

Just looked it up, apparently The White House was ground Zero of the explosion...so no white house. Just a crater.

Would love if people would use the god damn spoiler button. Some of us are taking our time doing side missions and shit, and haven't moved on past Megaton yet.

Also, in the "The Search For Cheryl" Mini-Encounter (Mini-Encounter 0.01), does anyone know where the third and final grave, that is supposed to be "directly northwest" of the Sewer Waystation, is? I've scoured the area to find it, so I could get the 3rd and 4th notes, leading to the Jury St. Metro Station Tunnel, as I am trying to get the only Super Mutant Behemoth to appear down there so I can kill it and get the "The Bigger They Are..." achievement for killing all 5 in-world SMB's. Any help is appreciated. |

Got this game for X-Mas but only started playing it this weekend. Loving it so far.
Only problem is I'm finding it so FUCKING HARD! Ammo just doesn't last long enough or do enough damage to take things out without getting too close, and there seems to be plenty that can kill me if I try to take it out with a baseball bat. I found one house I can sleep in and I have to fast travel back there pretty much constantly to have a chance of not wasting all my stimpacks. Money seems relatively hard to come by as well, meaning even less ammo and stimpacks. I like the way it has taken many of the best features of Oblivion, whilst still seeming completely different. I love the comparison between the thick, beautiful forests of Cyrodill and the bleakness of the Wasteland. |

From IGN:
Your time in the nuclear wasteland will increase thanks to plans that Bethesda Softworks has to raise the level cap in Fallout 3, its acclaimed post-apocalyptic role-playing game. Lead producer Jeff Gardiner told Eurogamer in an interview that the company will boost the level cap from 20 to 30 in the upcoming Broken Steel downloadable content pack, which is due out in March. Broken Steel is the third DLC pack for the game. The first, Operation: Anchorage, is due out this month, and it will let players experience the liberation of Alaska from Chinese forces. The second DLC pack, the Pitt, is due out in February and will let players explore the remains of Pittsburgh. Due to an exclusivity deal, the DLC will only be offered for the Xbox 360 and Windows versions of the game. Operation: Anchorage will cost 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox Live Marketplace. In addition, Broken Steel will also remove the game's ending, meaning that once you finish the storyline you will be able to continue to adventure around the wasteland. Currently, once you finish the game the credits roll and that's it. By removing the ending, Bethesda will let you work your way toward building a level 30 character. |

I started playing again and in my journey to find all bobbleheads/every location on the game I found Rockopolis and Dashwoods Ghoul-servant Argyle.. Anyway, I went back to Tenpanny Tower to tell Dashwood, and low and behold, the Ghouls I lety in, Roy etc, have killed all residents.. My quiestion is, supposedly all their bodies are in the basement, but I can't seem to figure out how to open the door.. Any know what I'm talking about??

This one I just did the option to help the Ghouls.. I want Dashwoods key to open his safe, I just need to figure out how to open the basement door..
FYI, I have 4 quests total left in the whole game.. I'm on "Rescue From Paradise" and have complete 24 of the 28 quests.. I also have all but 4 bobbleheads..

I must get back into this. I was becoming a bit obsessed, then Killzone 2 came out and all my gaming time went into ranking up online on it instead.
Still playing the first game I started when I got it, currently at the Waters of Life quest on the main story, also got the fire ants one going too. Some of the little side stories are fucking great. Encountering the cannibals in the middle of a small town, that was class. Me and Charon blew them away. Charon has went missing, I'm a bit upset about that. |

That Broken Steel expansion pack coming out is supposed to let you go past the main quest when it's done and get up to level 30. But it is delayed until "Q3 2009".

, because I've seen "reviews" of that expansion, and they say you can move up to Lev. 30, even going so far as to say that a Lev. 7 gamer would probably get more playing time out of the experience than a Lev. 20 gamer who they said would probably finish it in 1-2 hrs. (or less.)

You can only get to L30 on the 3rd DLC pack.
As for Raven Rock, no, you've got the same problem I did and half of the map is now blocked off with forcefields because you went too far. luckily, if you buy the 3rd DLC pack you'll be able to play past the ending and hopefully go back. |

I've almost done every side mission available I think on my first run through of the game. Because I am a naturally good person and just followed my instincts I have ended up with majorly good karma, going to play through it again when I'm finished as an evil bastard. I think the only side mission I won't be able to complete will be the Nuka Cola challenge because I made loads of Nuka Grenades, probably using up most of the Nuka Cola Quantums.
I love this game, really fucked off that the expansion packs aren't available on the PS3, seems really a cunt thing to do to release a game then make some parts of it exclusive to only certain people who have bought it. |

Although they do think the DLC will be released on PS3, but only in a GOTY edition, so you'd have to buy the whole game again which would be crazy. |

I dunno.
It may be a personal thing with me, but even though I had the regular Morrowind, I still picked up GOTY when it came out. Now that I think of it, I can't figure out why, since I think I had all the expansions...maybe I thought there was something else there, dunno. But if they release a GOTY Fallout 3, I'll buy it on PS3. Don't get me wrong, I love my 360 (even though it's in Texas being replaced with a new system/repaired ), but the quieter running noises of the PS3 is a big plus for me, especially if ALL of the DLC is on a GOTY edition.
